Month of June In Taiwan

Well, I'm booked to go to Taiwan for a month. I plan to swim, rollerblade and take pictures of butterflies.

I'll be back th celebrate the 4th of July in the USA.
(They have a 4th of July in Taiwan, also. :-)

I'll also be back for my annual eight person canoe trip to the Adirondacks starting the 10th of July.

I hope to keep a blog of the trip.

Taking Another Road Less Traveled By

Yesterday, I took a test and had a interview so I could go back to school. I passed and was accepted!
Classes start 30 August 2005 and I should graduate in June 2008. I didn't get 100% on the test because I didn't know what a Glazer's Point was. Now I do. I'm learning already!

Returned from Dry Tortugas, NP

I camped out at Dry Tortugas, NP, for two nights in April.

This is a picture of me about to set sail to Loggerhead Key, 2.6 miles further West than Garden Key, where I camped next to Dr. Mudd's cell in Fort Jefferson. It took 45 minutes to sail to Loggerhead Key and 2 hours and 30 minutes to paddle back.
